Case By Case Divorce

Divorce Coaching
The purpose of my business is to provide my clients with the support they need to get through a narcissistic divorce. Because of the nature of divorce, and the unique nature of everyone's experience, this can work in a multitude of ways.
A foundational aspect of my method is a trauma informed approach and the utilization of somatic experiencing as well as nervous system regulation techniques.
I am well versed in attachment parenting, childhood development and how trauma impacts children and what we can do about it.
I understand how isolating and alone this process makes us feel and I am highly motivated to help my clients feel seen, heard and held as they move through their process.

Let Me Help You
As your high conflict divorce coach I can help you with:
Navigating the court system
-
Writing applications and affidavits;
-
Reading,understanding and responding to court documents;
-
Finding resources to assist in navigating the court system;
-
Courtroom emotional support or assisting as a McKenzie friend for those self representing;
-
Assistance in finding legal advocates or resources and determining the best use of those resources;
-
Attending calls between my clients and their lawyer to assist in keeping the conversation on track, taking notes, clarifying what was said, and ensuring my clients original viewpoint was heard and responded to;
-
Mediations both with Family Justice centers and privately paid mediators (support around the process, intake forms, what to expect and how to get the best results);
-
Section 211 reports, including assistance reading intake paperwork and reports and emotional support.

Navigating communications with your Ex-partner
-
Development of safety plans around communications and interactions;
-
Reading and responding to correspondence from your ex. I combine this with coaching so over time, my assistance is no longer required, and you are confident and clear on what to respond to, what to ignore, and what to say when you do choose to respond;
-
Co-parenting or parallel parenting. This can be coaching around how to meet your child's changing needs, how to respond to your child's response to things your ex has done, troubleshooting how to make schedules or transitions have less conflict;
-
Avoiding, and deflecting parental alienation accusations.

Experience
Let my experience be your advantage
I have self represented and have taken the only course available in Canada for self represented litigants after which I received my certificate from the National Self Represented Litigant project run by Ryerson University.
I am regularly invited to speak to the graduating law class of Windsor University where I focus on informing new lawyers about domestic violence, coercive control, personality disorders and how to identify these within 'high conflict ' cases.
